What is "Other Carrier"?
Other Carrier is a general carrier template in Schipt Online that can be used for carriers that are not in our standard list. It works for carriers that accept our standard booking via EDI and our shipping documents – something that often works well for smaller carriers, but some larger carriers also accept this arrangement.
To ensure that it works with your specific carrier you can download a PDF with example files and send to the carrier for approval. If they accept the files, just add the carrier and start booking.
Tip: You only pay once for Other Carrier and can then use that template for an unlimited number of carriers – at no additional cost.
